The maid enters and finds the stranger in her mistress’ room. She runs out of the room and returns with her mistress and a police officer. The policeman apprehends and takes the tramp away. The policeman hits the tramp with a stick as they leave the room. The tramp buys a newspaper from a newspaper boy and reads it. He kicks the newspaper boy and waves his newspaper in the air.
