He sets manual choke and throttle, steps on foot accelerator pedal, checks gears in neutral and hand brake off. Driver turns steering wheel several turns to left. View shifts to cutaway of steering mechanism showing its action. Truck drives up to a loading dock, backs into position, and then drives away. Scene shifts to a busy city street, where the truck is seen in traffic. It waits with other vehicles as pedestrians cross with the light, and then proceeds. The truck pulls into a Ford Benzol station where operator refuels it.
