Amateur clowns participate in a circus 'Biggest Big Show' competition to win a one week stint with the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey circus at Madison Square garden in New York. A woman and the men and boys of a family dressed as clowns participate in an open audition for clown formation. The judges at work. People wait for the result. The judges with two other people dressed as clowns stand on stage. Mrs. Claire Manley being declared as the winner. She comes on the stage and receives the prize.

Rookie Boston Red Sox pitcher Billy Rohr comes within one out of throwing a no-hitter against the New York Yankees in baseball game at Yankee Stadium, April 1967. Rohr faces the last batter as scoreboard (in background) shows the Red Sox' 3-0 lead and zero hits for Yankees. Yankee catcher Elston Howard lines a single into right field, breaking up the no-hitter. Rohr gets final out and crowd cheers and teammates congratulate him. Final shot is Rohr standing at top step of dugout, chewing gum, contemplating how close he came to the rare baseball feat.

About the 21 Club, at number 21, West 52nd Street, in Manhattan, Well dressed men and women patrons rush out of establishment with address number 21, in New York City. Four men arrive. Two station themselves to the sides and two ring the front door bell. When the door is answered, they present a warrant and all four men push their way inside. A group of men leaves the building shaking hands, and chatting. Several agents come to the door and present a warant, and force their way into the establishment. Spectators line the sidewalks to watch during the filming.

Test of an airplane picking up a package via the Adams "goal post" aerial pickup system
A simplified "goal post" version of Dr. Lytle Schuyler Adams' Aerial pickup system is set up for testing at the property of Richard Archibold in Thomasville Georgia. (Archibold, of the New York Museum of Science, had prevailed upon Dr. Adams to simplify his aerial pickup system to facilitate its use in remote areas such as jungles. This "goal post" version being tested, was the result.) Two tall bamboo poles are seen planted in the ground at the edge of a road. A line is looped between the poles. The camera, recording in slow motion, captures the lower part of an airplane, trailing a long cable with a hook that extends down and passes between the bamboo poles, snagging the line between them. The cable and line grow taut and a large package is seen being dragged between the poles and upward behing the towing airplane. The bamboo poles appear bent away from the direction of flight, as they are captured snapping backwards in slow motion. (Judging by its landing gear, the aircraft being used appears to be a Travel Air monoplane.)
