Fire at a Whiskey warehouse in Glasgow, Scotland. A warehouse filled with 28 million dollars worth of scotch whiskey burns and explodes. Flames rise from the warehouse. Water being sprayed on fire by fire fighters during Cheapside Street whisky bond warehouse fire. Firemen stand on roof. They spray water from fire hoses on the blaze. Flames soar as whisky alcohol ignites. More than 19 fire fighters die and 40 more are injured fighting the fire.
Film demonstrates working of the Alcohol-O-Mat in Germany, a precursor to the modern breathalyzer. A drunk man comes out of a house drunk and smoking a cigarette. He gets into a Volkswagen convertible and drives dangerously. Next, we see the same man with Alcohol-O-Mat device installed in the car. The driver breathes into a large funnel and the device lights up, releases smoke, sounds a siren, and sprays water on the him because it has detected him to be intoxicated. "AlkoholOMat" is printed in German on the device. The driver leaves the Volkswagen and the woman accompanying him helps him to walk.

Riots in Tokyo, Japan. Communist led student mobs attack and force open the gate of the Parliament. A clash between the police and the mob. The police use high speed water guns to chase away the rioters. U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower's proposed visit to Japan is canceled. An aircraft lands in Manila, Philippines. President Eisenhower disembarks from the aircraft. He is warmly greeted by the people. A 21 gun salute is given in his honor. The President, his son and daughter in law are welcomed by Filipino President Carlos Polístico García. The President's motorcade rolls through the streets escorted by police escorts. People on the sides of streets and on top of buildings to welcome the President. The President gets off a car and is greeted by dignitaries.
