US Army Air Force training film on the A-N Gun Camera - Scoring of Gun Sight Aiming Point Film. Army Air Forces AT-6 aircraft towing a target sleeve as other AT-6s shoot at it. AT-6 training aircraft in flight with gun camera installed in the aircraft. Pilot seen in cockpit. The aircraft, parked on ramp. Pilot climbs out of cockpit, wearing seatpack parachute. An armorer removes the film magazine and then completes a scoring data form. The film is taken to a laboratory to be developed and scored. A Lieutenant explains gun camera scoring to a group of Air Force personnel, in an auditorium. He winds the film on a 100 foot reel, removing any damaged or unused film and splicing a leader on to it. He writes pilot and mission information on the film leader. Lecturer then illustrates scoring process, using a blackboard, and demonstrating with a scoring device adapted from a 16mm motion picture projector. Finally he displays charts dealing with trajectories of 30 caliber ammunition and relationships of range, span of target, and image size. He performs arithmetic calculations on the blackboard. Animated diagrams illustrate points being discussed. A Lieutenant in the audience asks about ground targets, and the instructor discusses that and also responds to several other questions from the audience. (World War 2 period.)

Newsreel clip on Minnesota welcoming major league baseball to the state in April 1961. Exterior views of Metropolitan Stadium, the home of the new Minnesota Twins. Banner reads "The Minnesota Twins Welcome You." Announcer notes team is playing in Bloomington, seven miles from each of the state's two major cities, Minneapolis and St. Paul. View of 25,000 spectators, most bundled up for a chilly day, inside stadium for the home opener against the Washington Senators. Those on hand include baseball commissioner Ford Frick, American League president Joe Cronin, and Minnesota Governor Elmer Andersen. Announcer notes the previous Washington team moved to Minnesota and was replaced with a new Senators team in Washington. Dignitaries walk on field trailed by Minnesota manager Cookie Lavagetto and Washington manager Mickey Vernon. Dignitaries raise the American flag. 11th annual Barrel-Jumping competition, on ice, at Grossinger's Resort in the Catskill Mountains of New York State

Seventeen of the world's best ice skating barrel jumpers compete in the 11th annual competition at Grossinger's Catskill Resort in the Catskill Mountains of New York near the village of Liberty. Skaters are seen circling the ice rink to gain speed, and jumping over lines of barrels. Scenes of jumpers failing to clear all the barrels in their attempts. Only 3 contenders manage to clear 15 barrels. Only one, Jim Waldo, of Portland, Oregon, is seen successfully clearing 16 barrels to win the event. He receives his trophy from New York Yankees Baseball team's star catcher, Yogi Berra.
