P-47s of the 318th Fighter Group, 19th Fighter Squadron , are loaded aboard the two aircraft carriers, USS Manila Bay and USS Natoma Bay, at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor. 'Aquazanies' entertain with comedy diving acts at an Aquashow in Flushing, Long Island. A diver takes position on a diving board at the pool. He executes a forward somersault dive. 'Aquazanies', a troop of men who perform comedy and diving acts. Aquazanies dressed in funny costumes rush onto the diving boards, and jump into the water. They dance outside the pool. Several stunt jumps of the aqua zanies are seen, as they jump from spring and platform boards, including stunts where the divers jump together, intersect during jumps, and belly flop into the pool.

Technicians install accelerometers mounted on wooden blocks. The aircraft equipped with external wing fuel tanks undergoes vibration tests. Electro-magnetic shakers are attached to the wing tips of the aircraft with the vibration visible on the nose of the fuel tank during low-frequence oscillation. Three engineers check oscillograph recordings made during the vibration tests. The F-102A, equipped with two external wing tanks painted black and white, in flight.
