German naval forces bomb fortified port near Gdynia

After German forces captured the Polish city of Gdynia during World War II, fighting continues in the nearby fortified ports of Oksywie and Hel. The choppy waters of the Bay of Gdansk (Danzig) are shown off the side of a ship, followed by a large group of German sailors onboard moving around on deck. Smoke trails off the back of the ship, likely from a recently-fired gun. A ship is shown far away on the water flashing its light in the hazy conditions. USAAF P-47 Thunderbolts fly over a field in France.
