U.S. Army Air Forces operations in Germany near the end of World War II. Fire guard stands watch as a USAAF B-26 aircraft of the 323rd Bombardment Group, starts engines at Denain-Prouvy Airdrome (A-83) in France, during World War 2. He mentions that only 1,361 days of his term are remaining and he wants these to be the best days the United States' history. He believes that America is the hope of the world and it gives hopes to millions of people in world that they can live their lives in peace and freedom.
