Gastro-Intestinal Division at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Nurse places tube into the mouth of patient and patient swallows it. Nurse uses suction device to attach end of tube. Patient lies down on bed. Nurse covers him with bed sheet and turns handle at foot of bed. The nurse places end of tube into bottle in rack beside bed, preparing specimens. She attaches syringe to end of tube, pushes plunger, removes syringe and writes on card.

The U.S. Navy battleship, USS Tennessee (BB-43) passing the camera while conducting trials on Long Island Sound, in October, 1920, after being fitted out following her commissioning at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on on June 3, 1920. The Tennessee maneuvers to port in a fairly sharp turn, and the camera ship moves into her wake. A civilian, in hat and overcoat, is seen momentarily on the camera ship. Baseball heroes Babe Ruth and TY Cobb square off in golfing match in Flushing New York as a charity endeavor for war effort. Two hold a golf-club and pose for camera before start of match. Hundreds of fans gather to see the two compete. Cobb plays a tea shot while Ruth waits for his turn.
