Greek athletes run in formation to Syntagma Square and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. A large crowd of spectators watches from across the street. The runners then depart in formation, followed by motorcycle police escorting the Royal Family in their open car. Assembled several paces behind him, are several high-ranking military officers and civilian officials. A troop of ceremonial Tomb sentries are lined up to his left, all dressed in the traditional Evzones uniforms. The bas relief figure of a dying ancient Greek warrior is seen on the wall of the enclosure. The King and his entourage move toward the street, where a parade ensues, led by men in white shirts who dip their flag in salute. Civilian marchers carry the traditional Greek Land Flag of white cross on blue field.
