At time 00:37 a man is seen talking with UAW President, R.J. Thomas (Roland Jay Thomas). More scenes of men mingling. Policemen seen now include one on horseback. At time 00:52, R.J. Thomas is talking with his organizers again. Scene shifts to UAW women representatives passing out the papers to workers carrying lunch boxes. The women wear hats reading "Aux No 5." Views of policeman directing heavy traffic passing the Ford plant. A blind man with a cane is escorted across the street. Workers are lined up for buses.
