The B-17s continuing unescorted in tight formation, displaying high altitude contrails. German fighters are spotted at 9 O'Clock high. Contrails from German fighters are seen. Bombs fall on waterfront dock areas and on industrial areas. A mix of incendiary and antipersonnel bombs are dropped on adjacent enemy aerodrome.
