Aftermath of Japanese Banzai charge on Saipan, Mariana Islands during WWII

Americans display (holding it upside down) a huge Japanese rising sun Vice Admiral rank flag , captured after a desperate "banzai" attack by Japanese forces on Saipan, during World War 2.
