About 25 cyclists gather loosely at starting point of race, on stone street with trolley tracks in it. They ride downhill on a concrete highway, escorted by motorcycle police and several automobiles. At the finish line in the city, spectators line both sides of the course, set along edge of a main street. A trolley car sits in center of street, and cars fill the opposite lane from the race. (The cars have no rear license plates.) The motorcycle police lead two finalists to the finish line, racing neck-to-neck. A trophy is presented to the winner.

Three nations sign pacts to preserve Mid-European peace, in Rome Italy. Italian Prime Minister Benito Mussolini, Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss of Austria, and Premier Gyula Gömbös of Hungary sign Agreement to help maintain peace in Europe. The pact is also signed to stimulate trade and improve commercial relations between the signatories.

Film begins showing a hen with four kittens in a wooden box. A young girl reaches into the box and removes one of the kittens, placing it into an everready battery cardboard box. She removes a second kitten. She reaches in again and the hen, who is sitting on an egg (unseen) reaches out to peck her. But the girl persists and pulls another kitten from behind the hen. The girl removes the last kitten from the box, as the hen stands up revealing the egg she is sitting on. She moves about in the barnyard. Meanwhile the mother cat gathers up her kittens in the barnyard
