Colonel Walsh and the Governor discuss Tenth Infantry's exercise with President Roosevelt seated in a car.
A large crowd witnesses the National Balloon Race. Balloons are dispersed among the crowd. Passengers seen in baskets attached to balloons as they take off one by one to begin the race as crowd cheers them on. Balloons fly in the air. (Note: This event took place near the present-day intersection of Bellaire Blvd. and Stella Link Rd.)
Men gather at the bank of Niagara river. George L Stathakis enters a large, customized barrel along with his small pet turtle. The lid of the barrel is tightly closed. The barrel is then released in the river close to the Niagara Falls waterfall. Barrel moves in the water and enters the water fall. It drops down along the falls. After crossing the waterfall the barrel is taken out to the river bank. George Stathakis does not emerge. He has died, smothered in the barrel during the stunt. A man takes out the 150 year old turtle from the barrel and shows it to the crowd. It is unharmed.
Bulls and horses buck, kick and jump during Annual rodeo, in the arena. Cowboys on the animals try to maintain their balance. Cowboys are present on the ground between the animals.
