He is soon surrounded by a phalanx of school children who accompany him, some on roller skates. Later, he is seen arriving at the school where he dismounts and parks his unicycle near the door and enters. (Pete Mole went on to become an important innovator in the bicycle business, known, among other things, for the banana seat; high rise bike; and folding bikes.)

The President in his speech talks about conquering fear with the famous line "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself...". Troops march past review stand. The Siemens Dynamo factory and surrounding buildings in the Siemensstadt locality of Berlin Germany, all decked out with banners praising Hitler. Swastika flags. A large clock on the building. All is quiet with one hour until the start of the celebration. Then bells ring, horns blow, whistles blow, and all manner of factory noise makers sound, at high noon. Everyone and everything comes to a halt, as Hitler and his entourage drive into the factory grounds in an open car, to the cheers and salutes of the assembled work force. Hitler exits the car and mingles with the workers.
