White Russian troops on parade in the cold in Siberia during Russian Civil War. Large numbers of troops, shouldering rifles with fixed bayonets, parade in formations on a snow covered field. A military band plays. A very large unit flag is seen containing the St. Andrew Cross and some type of Imperial insignia. A small contingent demonstrates bayonet use, as other troops stand back and observe.

Gun fired from a boat. Shell strikes near opposite shore. Wounded Russian White Guards carried on stretchers, being loaded on boats at the beach, for evacuation. A doctor in white coat and medical hat accompanies them. Boats loaded with evacuating White Guards, head for Vladivostok harbor, where they pull up beside a large steamship. American troops lined up on wharf. Large American flag flying from docked American warship. Officers inspect American troops readying for departure. Troops are loaded aboard launch flying American flag, and depart from the wharf. The American warship is seen steaming out of the harbor.
German troops battle Russian at Leningrad during World War II. Germans entrenched behind a ridge. Soldiers enter a ridge. Germans operate a heavy gun. They fire from a camouflaged position. Germans fire across a river at Russian positions. Tanks piled up on top of one another. Several bombs burst along the bank. Wrecked equipment and dead soldiers lay around a field at river bank.
Major General William S Graves, Commander of American forces in Siberia, during the Allied intervention there in the Russian Civil War and World War 1, poses on the balcony of his headquarters building in Vladivostok. Afterwards, members of his headquarters staff, who have been present during the filming, walk single-file back into the building.
General Kikkuzo Otani, Commander-in Chief of the Allied forces in Eastern Siberia, prepares to be photographed by an American cinematographer, at Japanese headquarters in Vladivostak, during the Allied intervention in Siberia in the Russian Civil War (and during World War 1). At first, U.S. Major General William S Graves is seen suggesting how an honor guard of Japanese soldiers should stand on the balcony of the headquarters. General Otani then comes on to the balcony and discusses, with General Graves, the manner of posing. Once they get settled down, we see a closeup of General Otani, and then he and General Graves shaking hands. (Only their hands are shown.)
