Crowds line roadway outside Market Hall in Dallas, awaiting arrival of President Kennedy's motorcade. A policeman controls the crowd. Men stand in a group and talk. One man carries a poster saying: "Yankee go home". Cars parked in the background. A girl and a woman hold welcoming posters, reading "Welcome President Kennedy" and "Yea, JFK". A man holds a poster which reads ' Hail Ceasar'. He marches along the road. His lips are sealed with white tape. Suddenly, a man in the crowd, who appears to have a small radio talks with others nearby, who appear very distressed at what they hear. Word of the shooting spreads rapidly. One woman begins to cry. The crowd starts to disperse.
Crowds gather in vicinity of the Fort Worth, Texas, Police Headquarters. Officials gather inside. Uniformed police officers gather to discuss events and write their reports. American flags are flown at half staff on buildings all over the city, in mourning over the death of President Kennedy. Inside Police Headquarters, suspect Donald Wayne House (mistaken in some film and photos for Lee Harvey Oswald) is marched through the hall under arrest, and taken to the office of the Chief of Detectives. Sign on the Door reads: "K. N. Howard, Chief of Detectives, and O.R. Brown, Captain."

Lee Harvey Oswald is processed through the Dallas Police Headquarters and moved into an area designated by a sign reading: "317, Homicide and Robbery." He is escorted by detectives and followed by large numbers of photographers and reporters.

A young boy takes photographs and police officers watch as coffin containing body of Lee Harvey Oswald is brought to the chapel for burial at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas. Funeral Director Paul Groody and assistants from Miller's Funeral Home move the coffin along the sidewalk. Spray flowers fall off the coffin and are put back again, as they move it. Several people, mostly photographers and reporters, gather outside the chapel.
