Sister Mary Williams, one of the members of the Board of Advisors of the Project Breakthrough, says that she was skeptical about the concept of using a machine to teach a child. An African American woman with a child says that she was not sure of the outcome of the project. Mary Brown, aid to case workers and Supervisor of Special Cases Jenine Bloomberg also express their doubts about the usage of a machine with children at the beginning of the project. Sister Mary says that this project has helped a lot in teaching children with the aid of a machine. One of the project officials Pamela Jung speaks about how a child's progress is constantly monitored while he is in the talking typewriter booth. The staff members at a meeting where they discuss the progress of each child.
