Hermann Goering, dressed in vest and lederhosen, walks to patio of his chalet on the Obersalzberg in the Bavarian Alps, near Berchtesgaden. He stoops to pet a lion cub. Goering picks up a newspaper and starts to read it, when the lion cub jumps up on the wooden patio railing. A black long hair dog behind Goering seems unconcerned. Revolt and overthrow of Government in Iraq. General Abdul Kassem arrives in Baghdad.

Opening slate reads: "Iraqi Revolt. Pro-Reds Ousted in Military Coup." Glimpse of the City of Bagdad, capital of Iraq. In flashback, Abd al-Karim Qasim is seen posing on a dais with a civilian, on July, 14, 1958, when he deposed King Faisal II and assassinated him and his family. Narrator states that he, himself, was killed by a firing squad in the wreckage of the Defense Ministry building. (On 8 February 1963, the Iraqi Ba'ath Party overthrew him in a coup, and a day later he was executed by firing squad. Up to 5,000 Iraqi communists were also killed in the aftermath) Views of the city seemingly quiet, but the search for communists is going on. Professor is released after spending 16 days in prison. Professor Frederick emerges from plane and is greeted by State Department Officials and family members in New York. Harold Smith of Connecticut is seen stealing second base and advancing to third as another Connecticut batter grounds out to first base. Smith is seen sliding into home plate to even the score, when California catcher Kinsman lets a pitch get past him. In an extra inning, Kinsman is seen hitting a single to right field. View of him (number 10) on first base. Team mate Fred Seibly (number 6) hits an infield grounder and Kinsman is forced out at second. But the throw to firat for a double play goes wild and Seibly advances to second. James Walker then hits a looping fly over first base that brings Seibly home for the win.
