Pilots General Francesco de Pinedo and James Mattern make last minute tests on their planes, at the Floyd Bennett Field, in New York, before their non stop flight attempt across the Atlantic, the Italian with Persia. Aviator Douglas Corrigan at Floyd Bennett Air Field in Brooklyn, New York completes his transcontinental flight from Floyd Bennett Air Field to Ireland.
