Dominion's Torch of Victory arrives at it's destination in England. The British Prime Minister Winston Churchill accompanied by officers stand in front of it. He takes out a document and reads it. Churchill rolls it back and hands it to an officer. Microphones placed in front of the Prime Minister.
Royal Air Force officers escort Queen Elizabeth and Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, on a road in England. Cars and jeeps parked on the road. Queen Elizabeth chats with crewmen of a British bomber, as Princess Elizabeth and Princess Margaret are assisted in boarding the aircraft to examine it. 'Parachute' written on the door of the aircraft. The Queen steps out of the aircraft, followed by Princess Elizabeth. The Queen watches as King George VI, decorates a Royal Air Force Squadron Leader, and several junior RAF officers. He presents the Distinguished Service medal to one and Distinguished Flying Crosses to others. View of officers wearing their Distinguished Flying Cross medals. Queen Elizabeth, carrying her flowers, also reviews the formation, walking several paces behing the King. King George speaks with women of the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service), in uniform, part of a formation in the hangar building. British flag on the hangar wall contains the Union Jack and the round British aircraft insignia. British troops, shouldering rifles, with fixed bayonets, lead a parade through the hangar, passing in review before the Royal Family. They are followed by unarmed RAF personnel marching out to the snow covered ground outside.
British Admiral, John Cronyn Tovey, arrives in a closed launch,manned by sailors, and is piped aboard a battleship off the coast of England. He is greeted, on board, by Admiral of the Fleet, Sir Charles Forbes. After shaking hands with the ship's officers, Admiral Forbes descends the ship's ladder and enters his launch, which is seen heading back to shore. Admiral Tovey and officers of the ship's company pose for pictures. The Union Jack is replaced by a White Ensign on ship's mast, in preparation for getting underway.
