They demonstrate emergency slides for exiting the factory quickly in the event of a fire or emergency.

Aircraft manufacture in United States during World War I. Women use transfer ink to apply United States Air Force insignia on the wings of an aircraft. A woman places a paper, applies ink on it and then removes it. Paper placed on the remaining portion to complete the insignia.
Liberty loan drive in United States. A Naval band plays as it marches through a monumental arch in a U.S. city, as a part of Liberty Bond drive during World War I. United States sailors march through the arch and into a street in a city. Spectators line the sidewalks and watch the sailors as they parade in the city streets. A military ambulance follows the marching sailors.
