People rush to a ticket counter for tickets at Soldier Field. In the so-called "long count" scene, Jack Dempsey hits Tunney with a flurry of punches that knock him down. Somewhat dazed,Tunney remains on the canvas. Dempsey stands still, near him, until the referee directs him to a neutral corner before he can begin his count to ten. That delay gives Tunney a few seconds longer than 10, to recover.
