Castro welcomes Nikita as his car arrives down town, at hotel, on street. The United Nation's meeting spot building. Castro arrives at the 15th meeting of the United Nation's General Assembly. He comes forward for speech. He gives the longest speech in general assembly of the United Nations meeting, 4 hour long speech. Fredrick Henry Boland, President of the General Assembly interrupts him when he attacks the United States Presidential Candidates. Castro supports soviet ideology and Chinese admission to the UN. Residents are out and about walking on the sidewalks. One man has the hood up on his big-fin 1960 Plymouth Fury automobile. Closeups as the camera car drives past some residents. Closed business establishments have heavy steel gates locked across their doors and windows. A sign advertising Ballantine beer is mounted on a building. Below it someone has painted message with partial words:"...Jtch Unknown Sinners." Small glass blocks have been broken out of an adjoining building. Camera pans down an apartment building on Crimmins Avenue, following path of external fire escape ladders. A number of people are gathered socially on the apartment house steps. The Lincoln Futura concept car, precursor to the Batmobile, makes its first appearance in New York City.

The Lincoln Futura concept car's first appearance in New York. Futura car is driven through the New York City streets. The Lincoln Futura drives past the United Nations building. Various features of Futura are displayed: a double, clear-plastic canopy top, exaggerated hooded headlight pods and very large, outward-canted tail fins at both ends of the vehicle. People standing beside the car look at it as the driver shows the engine and demonstrates the lowering of the pod windows. Built at a cost of $250,000, this car would later by purchased by George Barris and converted into the Batmobile for the 1960's television show.
