U.S. Army General Dwight D Eisenhower and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill alight from the car. They review 101st Airborne Division troops with its Commander, U.S. Army Brigadier General Maxwell D. Taylor. Churchill, Eisenhower, and Taylor review the troops by walking amongst them. Prime Minister Winston Churchill shakes hands with Brigadier General Don Pratt, Assistant Division Commander of the 101st Airborne Division (who was later killed on D-Day in the Normandy Landings). As the reviewing party proceeds, they pass the guidon of 321st Glider Artillery Headquarters, displaying crossed cannons. Churchill pauses momentarily, as he passes a British paratrooper in formation with the 101st Airborne.
An American colt wins British Derby in Epsom Downs. Queen Elizabeth comes to Epsom Downs to watch the British Derby. She steps from her car and is greeted by officials. A large crowd of spectators to watch the horse race. Lester Keith Piggott, an English Jockey, rides on American colt named "Never Say Die." Queen watches the race through binoculars. The race starts. Lester Keith Piggott is aged 18 years. He wins the Epsom Derby.
