He packs filler in the nose of the bomb and tamps it. Primer cord and fuse inserted in the nose of the bomb. Then he lights the fuse. (World War II period).
U.S. 1st Battalion 5th Marine Regiment brings in a Japanese prisoner from a cave just blasted in Shima. Two Marines bring a Japanese prisoner through a jungle path. The prisoner walks up hill under guard. (World War II period).

Marines of 'B' Company, 1st Regiment advance toward and into Naha. Marines advance past. Marine creeps and crawls forward. Marine takes cover and returns fire. Marines fire over hill. Marines fire 30cal light machine gun. (World War II period).
U.S. 6th Marines, 2nd Battalion, 22nd Regiment during their advance towards Naha in Okinawa. Platoon pinned down by Japanese rifle and machine gun fire. Long column of smoke rises from a ridge in background. Marines advance towards it and go over the top of ridge on the double. Marines in trenches in foreground fire rifles at hills. Explosions in front of the Marines. (World War II period).
