Attorneys Robert Kenny and Bartley Crum pursue motion to quash subpoenas, to appear before the HUAC, for clients John Howard Lawson and 18 other witnesses, on grounds of Committee illegality and unconstitutionality. Mr. Stripling of the Committee suggests pursuing the matter through the Courts. The attorneys appeal and the subcommittee exits to consider the matter in closed executive session.
