A man sits in a unique three-wheeled single passenger motor vehicle. He demonstrates its maneuverability on the street. Cars and other traffic on the street are stopped to allow the demonstration. The machine includes an air-cooled internal combustion engine (like a motorcycle engine) and fuel tank, all mounted above the front wheel, which is capable of being rotated 360 degrees to allow complete maneuverability. The driver demonstrates this by driving backwards, without needing to use any reverse transmission.

Following the Armistice ending World War 1, several German submarines are seen pulled up beside a ship. Washed clothes from crew members is seen drying on the decks. One of the submarines is U-91, commanded by Paul Koenig, which surrendered to the French on November 26, 1918. A large ship is crowded with men displaying Italian flags with cross and crown on them.
