A welder prepares shell for rocket motor case by welding a metal sheet at Jet Propulsion Laboratory California.

A welder takes a rolled metal sheet and fix it to a holder. Then he welds the rim of the sheet wearing helmet and gloves. Gas flame is used to create high temperature for welding. The welder takes out the cylinder from holder and examines the welded part. The resultant cylinder is probably the shell for rocket motor.
