American baseball superstar Willie Mays signs a two-year contract with the San Francisco Giants at a reported $130,000 a year, then a major league record. Cameras, reporters seen covering the event as Mays talks with Giants' officials and journalists. Scenes of Mays playing baseball with Giants, including a steal of second base, his famous over-the-shoulder catch in game 1 of the 1954 World Series, and hitting a record-tying four home runs in one game against the Milwaukee Braves early in the 1961 season.
