Guest U.S. Senator Jim Sasser from Tennessee and Arnold L Raphel, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Near Eastern and South Asian Affairs. They discuss the insurgency among religious groups in Afghanistan. Senator Jim Sasser states that the Congress of the United States is of the opinion to provide more aid and weapons to the Afghan fighters and funds going to them will not violate the United States law.
