Elizabeth's four-year-old son, Prince Charles, watches the ceremony as his grandmother Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, explains him the proceedings. Archbishop Fisher places the St. Edwards crown onto Elizabeth's head. Elizabeth II is enthroned as the Queen of Great Britain. Royal Peers vow to the Queen and first among them is her husband and Duke of Edinburgh, Phillip. After the ceremony, the new Queen along with her family moves back to the Buckingham palace. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police escort the royal family back to the Buckingham Palace. A large crowd throng outside the Buckingham Palace as Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Phillip along with their two children, Prince Charles and Princess Anne, appear in a Palace gallery.
