Inside the house the man starts to turn out the light when a woman jumps up and he and she both point pistols at each other but realize their mistake. German rocket pioneer, Gerhard Zucker, attempting to develop postal rockets in the 1930s. Location is Wadden Sea off Cuxhaven, on April 9, 1933, where Zucker follows Nazi Sturmabteilung (also called SA or Stormtroopers) carrying the mail rocket across wet sands. The rocket is set up on a launch stand. Zucker and an assistant ignite the 8 side rockets and the mail rocket takes off. It noses up and loops over backwards, falling to the sand. German Stormtroopers lift up the damaged device. Next, is seen a later, more modern, rocket trial ending in failure. Two German engineers display a model similar to the pulse-jet-powered "buzz bomb" (V-1) employed by the Nazis in World War 2. A brief glimpse of similar American machine on sand flat, as narrator states German acknowledgement of knowledge gleaned from Dr. Robert Goddard's work. The U.S. Medal of Honor and World War 1. A flurry of Newspapers covering Election of Woodrow Wilson; the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand; German troops on the march; the sinking of the Lusitania by a German submarine; and outbreak of a World War. He says North Vietnam is not complying with few provisions of the Peace Agreement. He says that they should honor all those American soldiers who died during the Vietnam War. He refers to the difficult days of the war including the moratorium to end the war which was organized on October 15, 1969 when millions of Americans took day off from work and schools to participate in local demonstrations against the war. Nixon refers to the period of April 1971 when he ordered attacks on Communist bases in Cambodia. He talks about the period of May 1972 when he ordered air strikes in North Vietnam and the period of December 1972 when he ordered more air strikes.
