Newsreel titled Big Top - Celebrities join in heart fund benefit. Mrs. Impelliteri, chairman, heads the fund raiser show at Madison Square Garden in New York. Various stage and radio artists and sports persons like Lauritz Melchior, Jerome Collins, Jack Dempsey, Weary Willie clown Emmett Kelly and Dorothy Kilgallen lend their talents to raise funds for the heart foundation. Artists dressed as clowns entertain the audiences. Female artists sitting on elephant back perform acrobatics. Jimmy Durante laughs at an act. Celeste Holm rides on an elephant Male artists perform acrobatics as they hang from swings. The show raises a total of 190 thousand dollars for the heart fund.
