Korean refugees standing in two open boats ready to be ferried across the Pyongyang River, in Korea. Snow is on the river bank.Ferrymen on port and starboard push one boat away from the shore, using a long poles. Large group of refugees queued up on riverbank awaiting next ferry. A Korean Army Military Policeman is in charge of the queue. Several refugees are permitted to run off to catch a ferry about to leave. Along the embankment, refugees are gathered on a dock, next to a building, and the line of refugees extends a long way up the embankment to an open shelter above. Family groups are evident including men, women, and children. Some women carry large bundles on their heads.

Lieutenant Commander Lloyd Bucher (USS Pueblo Skipper) begins by stating that, "as is well known to the American people, we of Pueblo were caught red-handed while committing espionage...." he continues, “I urgently appeal to the American people, to recognize the simple truth of this statements, and to urge our government to accept the responsibility for the attack that we may be reunited with our families and loved ones” says Lieutenant Commander Lloyd Bucher.
Thousands of people parade on the streets of Pyongyang to celebrate May Day. People carry several banners,pictures and signs. Flags of South Korea and Russia can be seen in parade. Shows a band playing in parade with a picture of Stalin in middle. Children do exercises in chorus. Prime Minister Kim II Sung, Russian Officials and other dignitaries watch and applaud the parade from a high-ground. Approximately 1947-48.
