These operations are occuring in 1943, after Guadalcanal has been secured and now being prepared as a base for further allied advances against Japanese-held islands on the road to Japan itself. In one scene Soldiers are seen arrivng on a Higgins Boat from the transport ship, USS George Clymer (APA-27). Most of the film shows supplies being amassed on the beachhead. Local natives are employed helping unload and store the large quantities of supplies.

U.S. Army, Marine, and Seabee units landing on Rendova. A U.S. Navy Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bomber flies very low over the landing party. LVTs are seen (Landing Vehicle Track). Scenes of dense jungle. Large amounts of supplies are unloaded on the beachhead. U.S. troops set up antiaircraft guns on the beachhead. A formation of 4 Japanese dive bombers approaches. They peel off and attack. Fires burn from Japanese bombing. U.S. casualties being treated at the beachhead. U.S. marines exchange fire with Japanese snipers in dense jungle. Several dead Japanese soldiers. LSTs (Landing ship Tank) arrive at beachhead, carrying heavy armor and construction equipment.
