In final year of passenger operations, a Denver and Rio Grande narrow guage railroad train is seen traveling through Black Canyon in Gunnison National Park, Colorado. The engine of the train belches heavy black smoke as it struggles up a grade crossing a bridge. it continues to follow close to the river. Several fishermen turn to wave at the passengers. Gradually the mountains open wider as the train proceeds on its way.
