U.S. President Richard Nixon talks about the Watergate tapes during a press conference in San Clemente, California. A journalist asks the President regarding the person in charge of the Watergate investigation in June 1972 when the Watergate incident took place, and March 21 when the president got the evidence. The president responds that in June the responsibility of investigation was given to Jeb Magreder who was the new Chairman of the Committee. Magreder and his associates had assured president of a thorough and fair investigation. In the White House, the investigation responsibility was given to John Ehrlichman, Counsel to the President, who in turn had delegated it to John Dean, a White House Counsel. But Dean himself was involved in the investigation of the White House staff by the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation). Dean was to report to the President which was then carried on by Dean. The President sates that he has also met Haldeman, John Dean and Ehrlichman to discuss the matter and to get the truth out. Another journalist seeks an explanation for the President not asking Attorney General John Newton Mitchell the truth. The President clarifies that he did have confidence in Mitchell and asked him for details about the conversations. The President states that Mitchell did not tells him the truth and had his own reasons for doing so.

A journalist states that the President had asked White House Chief of Staff Harry Haldeman to listen to one of the Watergate tapes, so as to be sure that they are correct. The journalist then questions the President about his involvement in co-ordinating his defense and the defense of Haldeman and President's Assistant for Domestic Affairs John Daniel Ehrlichman. The President clarifies that he makes his own defense and the lawyers take care of the defense for Haldeman and Ehrlichman.

Shows several aviation "firsts" accomplished by U.S. Army Air Service aviators in the period from 1918 through 1924. A close formation of biplanes in flight. President and Mrs. Woodrow Wilson chat with Major Fleet, Officer in charge, on the occasion of the first air mail flight, inaugurated on May 15,1918 between Washington DC and New York.The mail is loaded into the Curtis JN-4 aircraft. In 1920, U.S. Army Captain St. Clair Streett is seen with some of his Squadron who flew four De Havilland DH-4 aircraft 9,000 miles, from New York City to Nome, Alaska. Two of the men play with pet dogs. Their itinerary is painted on the side of one of the aircraft, along with the names of pilot and mechanic (C.E. Crumline and J.E. Long). In 1923 the first non stop coast-to-coast flight was made in the Fokker T-2 aircraft. . A sign on the aircraft reads 'Army Air Service non stop coast to coast'.First Lieutenants Oakley O.Kelly and John A.
