During the Great Depression, Actors of Federal Theatre (program of Works Progress Administration or WPA) of San Francisco and Los Angeles listen to the broadcast of a play from New York. Conference of Writers Unit gathered together, viewing documents. Rehearsal of 'One -Third of The Nation'. A poster at an advertising board of Federal Theatre. Flight crew members of U.S. Navy Squadron VP-1 (later changed to VP-21) sit in front of a Squadron PBY-4 for group photo before departing on a deployment (likely to Pearl Harbor). They disperse.
