(Note: This launch was an engineering test of the range safety destruct system as well as a prototype Titan II silo, as that missile was still over a year away from its first launch. Following first stage burnout, the dummy second stage, which was filled with water, was detonated. The water formed an ice cloud that was then photographed. This experiment would later be performed on two Saturn I launches.)
