An armorer removes the film magazine and then completes a scoring data form. The film is taken to a laboratory to be developed and scored. A Lieutenant explains gun camera scoring to a group of Air Force personnel, in an auditorium. He winds the film on a 100 foot reel, removing any damaged or unused film and splicing a leader on to it. He writes pilot and mission information on the film leader. Lecturer then illustrates scoring process, using a blackboard, and demonstrating with a scoring device adapted from a 16mm motion picture projector. Finally he displays charts dealing with trajectories of 30 caliber ammunition and relationships of range, span of target, and image size. He performs arithmetic calculations on the blackboard. Animated diagrams illustrate points being discussed. A Lieutenant in the audience asks about ground targets, and the instructor discusses that and also responds to several other questions from the audience.

Announcer notes the previous Washington team moved to Minnesota and was replaced with a new Senators team in Washington. Dignitaries walk on field trailed by Minnesota manager Cookie Lavagetto and Washington manager Mickey Vernon. Dignitaries raise the American flag. Governor Andersen kisses a baseball and throws out the ceremonial first pitch. Announcer notes Twins lost this game, but says "Who cares?" because Minnesota is in the big leagues.
