Horse-drawn wagons move on the street and people leave and enter the train station. A group of American soldiers stands on the building steps, along with several Czech troops. Next, the American soldiers are no longer seen, and men, women, and children are seen in front of the station building and crossing the street. Scene shifts to a funeral procession making its way along Svetlanskaya street. The coffin is carried in an elaborate carriage pulled by two horses covered in black blankets. What appear to be Russian Orthodox clergy, lead the way. Men in overcoats and Formal Navy-style hats accompany the cortege. A small group of mourners walk behind. A horse-drawn carriage passes the procession. View along the street shows a tram or streetcar or trolley going uphill followed by a solitary automobile. At first, U.S. Major General William S Graves is seen suggesting how an honor guard of Japanese soldiers should stand on the balcony of the headquarters. General Otani then comes on to the balcony and discusses, with General Graves, the manner of posing. They are dressed in parkas and similar winter clothing. Scene shifts to view from atop rail cars, from where the railroad tracks are seen to be bordered by deep snow berms.
