It displays conventional tricycle landing gear, canard at nose, and twin tail. It is powered by two Westinghouse J-40 turbojet engines, whose intakes are visible on both sides of the fuselage. Aircraft seen during computer-controlled takeoff roll with fairly steep nose attitude. View of it breaking ground, in about 20 degree nose up attitude, with landing gear still extended. Cloud of dust left on ground behind the aircraft. The X-10 in flight, cleaned up, with gear retracted. A chase plane seen below and behind, briefly. Edgar Faure, President of the French Council of Ministers, arrives at the Élysée Palace (55 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, 75008 Paris, France). He steps from his car and walks up the steps of the building. Cameramen photograph him. The occasion is the Government's decision to dissolve the French National Assembly and proceed to quick elections. A clock shows hands approaching midnight. President Faure is accosted by numerous members of the press as he leaves the building.

In opening scene, as many as 20 thousand American troops are seen seated in sand at the base of a mountain. They watch as comedian, Jack Benny does a monologue. Camera focuses on two senior officers of the Third Infantry Division sitting with the troops. On the right is Major General Haydon L. Boatner, who assumed Command of the 3rd Division in December 1954. Rank insignia of the officer to his right is not discernible in the images. The next scene shows a woman dancer performing as another woman plays an accordion. Another view of the vast audience, with senior officers seated in the front row.
