After successfully connecting it, he uses the aircraft refueling panel to direct fuel to the appropriate tanks. Another airman operates a mobile pump unit connected to an underground fuel tank. Pilot (U.S. Air Force Captain Wells) approaches front of the aircraft, walks past auxiliary power unit cable, and begins preflight walk-around inspection. He is followed by crew chief.
