Smoke comes out from an engine of a railroad train. Delegates of different countries on board the train to participate in the second Pro Soviet World Peace Congress in Warsaw in Poland. Polish people in large numbers wait with flowers to welcome the delegates at the train station. Train arrives at the station delegates wave to the locals who in turn greet the delegates with flowers. A Scandivanian and Chekoslovacian airlines planes arrive at Warsaw Fredric Chopin air port. Delegates from European and African countries get down from the plane. Delegates reach the venue where locals line up with flame torch in their hands to welcome them. Delegates from different countries are greeted with flowers as the flags of different nations are seen in the background. A priest also arrives and is greeted with flowers as the photographers take pictures. A man sings an anthem over the microphone as others join in the singing. Flags of different countries fly outside a building.
Excerpt from "The City". Smoke comes out from industrial chimney in factoriesnd causes air and water pollution. Houses in the city are congested, streets are narrow and children have no ground to play. Smoke can prove to be hazardous as it may lead to various diseases like Tuberculosis, Rickets and Typhoid. People run across the railway track before a train arrives with its engine emitting smoke. A man and a girl walk through narrow city streets with congested houses. After the day gets over workers return to their houses as their wives do household chores. A women pumps out water as another worker washes his dirty face and hands after a long days work. Smoke coming out from factories, houses and rail engines cause pollution and leads to environmental degradation.
