Airmen refueling a KC-135A, of the 4258th Strategic Wing, at U-Tapao Air Base in Thailand. Airman has some difficulty connecting refueling hose to the aircraft centerpoint refueling valve. After successfully connecting it, he uses the aircraft refueling panel to direct fuel to the appropriate tanks. Another airman operates a mobile pump unit connected to an underground fuel tank. Pilot (U.S. Air Force Captain Wells) approaches front of the aircraft, walks past auxiliary power unit cable, and begins preflight walk-around inspection. He is followed by crew chief.
