Soldiers move towards the north and move across the wrecked city. Tanks pass by the Leaning Tower of Pisa (Piazza del Duomo, 56126 Pisa PI, Italy). General Mark W. Clarke and other officers inspect the leaning tower. British anti-aircraft units cross over River Arno the next day.
