Opening scenes show a live fire training area with no apparent activity. Suddenly, a puff of white smoke rises where a small bomb just struck. Scene shifts to an American advisor, seated on a rock outcropping above the target area. He releases orange smoke that billows downwind. On another hill an American advisor stands with several Laotian airmen. Closeup shows one Laotian communicating as a Forward Air Controller. Smoke from bomb strikes is seen below him at the target area. Next, several AT-28 aircraft are seen diving and releasing bombs that explode with white smoke on the ground. Scene shifts back to the American advisor and several Laotians where the Forward Air Controller trainee is communicating. Next, the American advisor ignites an orange flare and holds it aloft. But filming stops as some of the orange smoke begins to descend to where they are standing. Another bomb explodes with white smoke at the target area. The remainder of the film shows numerous views of a HH-53 helicopter flying over the target area.
