A pilotless rocket driven missile travels at twice the speed of sound. Two scientists push a trolley with the missile. Men check equipment on the launch pad. A man tracks the missile by radar. The rocket powered missile takes off leaving a trail of smoke. The missile in flight. An official observes the missile in air. A military ambulance and truck at the launch site.
Dick Anderson with his new contraption called the Manta Ray at the Los Angeles Harbor in California. Anderson stands in his scuba diving suit ready to board the Manta Ray. The invention looks like a saucer shaped surf board. He puts on his goggles and gets onto the board. The contraption moves in the water. Anderson dives into the water on the board and resurfaces. It is driven by a compressed air motor and can dives like a submarine. It is designed to go up to the depth of 300 feet.
